About Us

Eric McGarvie worked in the construction industry for 10+ years before becoming an electrician. He graduated from the Independent Electrical Contractors of Oregon in 2019 after completing the 4-year Inside Wireman apprenticeship program. He tested out and became a certified Journeyman Electrician in 2019.

Eric has journeyed throughout the Mid-Valley for the last 8 years working under electrical contractors including EC Electric, Rosendin, McKinstry, OEG, Current Electric, Bear Electric, Parkin Electric and Purelight Power to name a few, all specializing in Commercial, Data Centers, Apartment Complexes, Residential, In-Home Service Calls and Solar fields.

These opportunities have allowed Eric to sharpen his electrical skills and learn many different avenues of the trade.

Eric partners with his wife, Raquel McGarvie who is a co-owner of For His Glory Electric and is also a 4th year apprentice electrician that helps Eric with all sides of the business. 

Her experience includes Commercial, Residential and Solar fields through Gaylor Electric, Distinct Electric and Purelight Power.

When they are not working they love to be with their 5 children whether going on adventures together or staying home and having family movie night.
